Do I have to pay a monthly subscription fee for the GPS tracker?

No, the Petbiz G20-pro GPS + Activity tracker is completely free to use, now and in the future. Our Gen1 tracker does come with a low monthly subscription starting at $2.99 a month.

Which tracker is right for me?

We've created two trackers, Gen1 and G20-Pro, both at different price-points and with different features. If you're an irregular user of trackers, and you plan on using it just for hikes or weekly walks, our Gen1 with a flexible monthly plan is a great budget-friendly option. If you want pro-features like health monitoring and customized feeding advice, we recommend our advanced G20-Pro tracker. The G20-Pro has the same works-anywhere wireless connectivity, but you don't need to pay a monthly subscription, that's on us!

Does the tracker require WiFi to work?

No, both trackers works anywhere, inside and outside on the cellular network. This means it works right out of the box and there's no need to fumble around with passwords and setup. You don't need to do anything to activate the network connection, just switch on and go!

Does the Smart Bowl require WiFi to work?

Yes, unlike the trackers, the Smart Bowl does connect to your home network. Just set it up once via the app and it will stay connected. It works with or without the tracker, it's also great on its own.

My country isn't listed as a shipping country...

Currently the trackers are only set up for the US, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and Germany, due to our agreements with local connectivity providers. The Smart Bowl works anywhere in the world, but we're limited to our shipping provider's list of countries we offer shipping to. We'll be adding support for more countries in the coming months, so stay tuned.
